Wink Hello

Hello

You have Ben Fogle to thank for my interest in Sark.

I attended a talk of his last month and bought his new book, in which he relates his stories of the islands around the UK that he has visited. His account of Sark was such that I had to find out more about your island and plan to visit in September. It really sounds idyllic, beautiful and very peaceful.
Just the fact that there are no cars and no mobile phones - wow!!!

Looking forward to my trip and seeing it all first hand.

Nicole

Default Welcome

Hi Nicole

So pleased to hear that you plan to visit soon. I've not read Ben Fogle's book but its good to know that travelers are writing enthusiastivly about this special place. It is indeed very peaceful and much safer for not having cars - we really don't need them here. There are tractors to deliver goods - but they don't go very fast

And we do have good mobile phone coverage but you can always switch it off if you don't want to be disturbed
