Red face Message to Post Office

Hi

My name is Tracey Burnett and I live in a small village called Lower Burrow in a Somerset, England.

We are trying to get in contact with anyone in the Post Office who could give us information about the old MF 135 that was part exchanged against a TAFE tractor supplied by Martin Richards Engineering in Sturminster Newton, Dorset.

We have brought the tractor and it is currently undergoing restoration. We are proposed to put it back to the original red as was so many other 135s. We are looking to enter it in a local old Farming Show called Yesterday Farming mid August and would like to have a board displaying the history of the tractor, eg Year it was brought, any exciting stories about it during its time on the Island.

We read the Tractor and Machinery Magazine with great interest when it featured the tractors of Isle of Sark and we did send an e-mail to the editor requesting that he could perhaps forward it onto the Isle of Sark but we have had no response.

The show is mid August and we are currently sending the body of the tractor to be resprayed grey this week before we attach the new red wings, bonnett etc.

Any information would be gratefully received and we would be very happy to e-mail photos of the restoration and finished article.

Await to hear your response.

Tracey

Default My Dad's tractor

Hello Tracey,
The blue massey you refer to used to belong to my Dad John Perree, who passed away 21 years ago, he used to do a delivery service with the mail run included. I will write more info in the next e mail as I have to work out how long it has been with us. We would love to have photos of it AND first refusal if you ever go to sell Betty.
Best wishes, Michelle
