to everyone. I am a newbie. I see on the opening page that it suggests that I introduce myself and say hallo as my first post. Actually, however, I have already done this in my first post which was a reply to Tanya's comment about the Barclay's bid being blocked. The post is not visible, however. Maybe it was censured. Hope not, otherwise it would be worse than the Barclay's taking over Chief Pleas. On the other hand, there was nothing untoward about it, so perhaps it just takes a little time.

Warmest Greetings to all my summer peeps in sunny Sark. Unfortunately I'm just an occasional summer swallow via the good ship mv swancrest. Nothing finer than anchoring in Dixcart Bay and strolling up le vallee to the Dixcart Inn and having a pint of their foaming finest brew. Arrrgh, such simple happy summer memories. The stuff of dreamz.

Well there was a great 'warm welcome' in Sark tonight with a massive bonfire provided by the builders. Sark is a great place in all seasons.
