Hiya ! Don't know whether you remember me or not . . J's nephew from England. I've just been digging up some old photos out and found some of us swimming off Herm in 1981 when me and my little sister came over for the Summer to work. We spent the day having a barbecue at Grand Greve and then went over to Herm in John's boat and went swimming at Shell Beach.

I know Louise left this island to get married but I've not been over for a few years now and will try to come over and hopefully catch up.

I've had many friends visit the island after I've told them all about it and they all rave about the scenery and tranquility. Such a beautiful place and somewhere I'd definitely love to come over to and stay forever.

I am no longer married and have two teenage daughters, 16 & 18, i go home when i can but live in Guildford Surrey and have done since leaving home. Am at uni at the mo studying Humanistic Counselling and enjoying the challenges im facing. So what u been up to all this time then? Louise Neville

Didn't think I'd be able to get in touch with you but am sooo happy you got back to me.

Well, where do I start . . I 've got a 14 year old boy. Married in 1990, divorced in 1999. Married again in 2005.

Living in Burton On Trent now, working as a Risk Manager for a Water Company in Coventry . . believe me that sounds way better than it actually is !

How often do you get back to Sark. I've not been for about 4 years now but am hoping to go over in the School Summer Holidays in July or August for a week - just me and my lad, Matthew.

Was looking at this site for ages - the pictures bring back so many memories. Was gutted when you went away from the Island - remember you asked me to marry you that night in the Avenue and you let me down !! I haven't forgotten Definitely my happiest time ever.

Little sister has just moved to Exeter - she's been working for HSBC since she left school.

I saw Sharon last time I was over . . don't know if she remembers or not.

Are you there this Summer? Be nice to maybe meet at the Mermaid again !!
