What an amazing place Sark looks - I have family who used to live in Sark but now moved elsewhere. We are hoping to visit Sark in June and wondered if there are any events planned. We are looking forward to meeting new people and hopefully visiting some good restaurants on the island. Is it possible to hire bikes? as we are keen cyclists.

Greetings Denny, welcome to this friendly forum.

Well, there's always something happening in Sark and lots of places for the family to explore and yes, there are three cycle-hire companies here with bikes of all sizes.

I've just taken a look at the Tourism website and there is an ongoing art exhibition through the second half of June. Also the Sark Mid-Summer Show on the 25th and 26th with the Lords Taverners Cricket match on 28th and 29th.

If your holiday continues to the first weekend in July that's the provisional date for Sark Sheep Racing - a great event for all the family.
