Default A change of pace

Hi all!
My reason for posting is to try and get some feedback and help in finding employment on the beautiful Island of Sark and/or any of the neighboring islands.
Having come from a farming, boating, diving background, I'm not comfortable with the unrelenting pace and rudeness of city life and, as such, am looking to get back to a life in more colourful surroundings and with friendly neighbors.

Any help, tips, pointers will be greatly appreciated as searching site after site on the internet can be overwhelming at times.

Thank you

Sim

Thank you for replying to our advertisement.

Firstly we can tell you that the job involves the single handed operation of a 16' boat with 25hp outboard engine(Orkney Strikliner with small cuddy) around the bays of Sark assisting visiting yachtsmen mooring up there boats, and collecting their mooring fees. It is essential that the applicant speaks perfect English and some knowledge of French whilst not essential would be most useful.

The work involves a degree of self motivation as the successful applicant will mostly be working alone, the job also involves some early morning starts and late finishes (so if you can't get up in the morning don't apply).

It is highly likely that this job will be shared with some land based duties around a farm that will help offer some variety and avoid any individual being out at sea all week. The work is over six days a week with one day off a week which usually is not over weekends or bank holidays etc as this is often our busiest times.

The job will include accommodation and a salary in region of £*** per week with an end of season bonus if appropriate.

What we need from you is some basic details about your self such as age, details of any relevant experience and preferably a photograph by email to
info@scubaline.co.uk

Yours sincerely,

Simon
(For and on behalf of Sark Moorings)
